Being a CA

It was in school that I decided to become a CA-the reason was simple-I loved Maths and reading and discussing finance-related matters.

No matter what vocation, business or profession we are in,for most of the folks, everything boils down to one point-the rate at which our earned income is being earned, increased and enjoyed.

So come to Class 11,in a girls college,in the city of Jalandhar in Punjab ,out of 100-110 students in my section,we were hardly 2-3 girls who wanted to be a CA, but I really do not remember anyone being so determined as I was.

So every person in my circle who was even remotely connected to a CA became my guru-I used to ask questions and get guidance on how to start, when to start, where is the library, who will give forms, what is provisional admission etc etc – also got a serious well-meaning advice not to think to be a CA-the hairline will be whiter before you qualify and ladka nahin milega blah blah….

But a dream is a dream-and a dream so worthwhile has to be started and executed beautifully. With the grace of God,clearing all levels of CA with All-India ranks, really,I could not have asked for more.
